Heartfelt Brilliance Evolution

Following my heart.
Keeping my childhood dream alive.

If you’ve still got a dream but worry you’ve left it too late, welcome to my little space in the cosmos, a place of dreams and imagination, where the heart is our North Star.

I’m a woman in my fifties learning piano and steel pan to turn the melodies I hear in my head into the songs of my heart.

Follow my musical journey

On my YouTube channel, I’m sharing my attempts to learn piano and steel pan, play the melodies I hear in my head and turn them into songs.

You’ll see the practice, the frustrations and the small breakthroughs, along with the thoughts and mindset shifts that emerge as I work through old blocks. I’m sharing as I go, to keep myself accountable and in case something might help you keep your own dream alive.

The person behind HeartfeltBE

Hi, I’m Haidee

I’ve dreamed of becoming a songwriter since I was thirteen. The dream never went away, but neither did the blocks that have made learning an instrument so difficult for me.

Over the years, I’ve tried, made progress, stopped, forgotten and started again. Now, in my fifties, I’m making another attempt to learn piano and steel pan; to play the melodies I hear in my head and turn them into songs.

I’ve learned things along the way. The songs I’ve already written count. Small efforts count. But knowing that doesn’t always make practising easier, and I’m still working through the all-or-nothing thinking that can keep me stuck.

HeartfeltBE stands for Heartfelt Brilliance Evolution. For me, it means letting my heart’s calling be my North Star, even when I struggle to follow it.

Through my videos, songs and writing, I’m sharing this journey as it happens: the joys, frustrations, mindset shifts and small breakthroughs. To keep myself accountable and in case something might help you to keep your own dream alive.

Even tiny efforts are the breath of life for your dream.

Songs to encourage us
along the way

Songwriting has been my heart’s calling since I was thirteen. Today, I enjoy bringing my lyrics to life with Suno and creating music videos to accompany them.

These songs are often encouragement I need to hear myself: keep faith, appreciate what’s here, and keep answering the call. I hope they offer you encouragement too.

How to be okay without everything being okay

I wrote these lyrics as practical guidance for my own journey of following my heart. If you feel overwhelmed by your responsibilities, or the weight of the world and find yourself waiting for everything to settle before making room for what you love, I hope they offer you encouragement too. Most of all, this song reminds me to keep going, keep believing and never give up.

A children’s story

Egglesba & Berryeppa:
A Very Special Day!

A playful children’s story about kindness, imagination and unexpected friendship, with wobbly dancing and a very messy ice cream mishap.

These characters began in my imagination many moons ago, being someone who struggled to complete creative projects, I have lived with these two lovely characters for a good while. Bringing their story to life by self publishing has been another way of giving my dreams a place in the life I have.

Written for early readers and for exploring the boundless possibilities of our imagination and sharing some family laughter together, this little adventure is one of my heartfelt creations.

Heartfelt Brilliance Evolution

Honouring the life you have while making room for the dream you love

Drawing on my own experience of holding a big dream alongside earning a living, I’m exploring how we can loosen all-or-nothing thinking, appreciate the efforts that sustain us, and keep answering our heart’s call.
